Born and raised in Buffalo, NY, A. A. Lewis attended the Buffalo Academy For Visual & Performing Arts, which nurtured her creative spirit.

As the creator of the Black Readers Appreciation Event (BRAE), AA is building a platform that assists authors' enhancement and promotion of their brands. As a social media literary hostess, she uses lives interviews and consistent content creation to nurture the relationships among readers, authors, publishers, promotors, patrons, owners in the urban book business and the global Black book community.

When AA is not writing, she can be found cooking up a culinary feast for her growing family. The grandmother of two, enjoys spending quality time with her adult children and her husband. With both AA and her husband, D. Lewis The Narrator actively engaged in the urban literary scene, you can catch both of them at book expos and fairs across the country.

AA is currently working on stories and characters that are sure to become fan favorites. Her ambition doesn't stop there, AA is planning on converting her books to movies in the near future.
